This position will be assigned to the JBSA Lackland NAF Resource Accounting Office. Employee may also sometimes work at the Ft Sam or Randolph NAF Resource Accounting Offices.
This is a regular part-time category position with guaranteed 20 hours per week. May work up to 40 hrs/week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience in work which provided comprehensive knowledge of double-entry accounting methods, procedures, and techniques used in maintaining and analyzing all classes of accounts system encompassing a number of diversified activities; experience in reviewing financial settlements and reports. May substitute an accounting degree from an accredited university for experience or a minimum of 9 hours of accounting course work. Experience providing high level customer service to internal/external customers. Experience with accounting systems sufficient to flow individual funds from initiation through expenditure stages. Experience interpreting and applying regulations, policies, and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
- Microsoft Office systems (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, TEAMs, etc.)
- Oracle operating systems
- Accounting and bookkeeping skills
- Organization and record keeping skills
- Time management skills
