Job Summary:
The Head of Production leads the company's production team and activities. This role ensures flawless budgetary, strategic, and technical execution of client projects while leading the production team. You will facilitate communication between the Producers, Designers, Technical Directors, vendors, project management, and clients. Most importantly, you will guide the Producers in strategic thinking and client management while working closely with Leadership and Finance to optimize project outcomes. This is an execution-focused role. You will play a key role in determining project scope, assigning resources, and performing or overseeing the critical steps of our projects. Your experience will contribute to the continuous improvement of processes while you maintain a healthy work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, oversee, mentor, and manage the team of Producers to operational efficiency and drive business growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding needs and expectations. Act as a central point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring internal and external alignment of parties.
- Provide company-wide production schedule planning and oversight.
- Effectively allocate resources to individual projects based on scope and requirements. Source and manage contractors and consultants when needed.
- Oversee budgets, work with the Director of Finance and Project Management on monitoring financial performance and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- The management of client expectations and fulfillment of the artistic vision of projects is a key responsibility of this role.
- Be responsible for and responsive to the needs of the production team to ensure a safe and effective work environment.
- Implement new strategies for income generation in collaboration with the Director of Operations and Head of Creative.
- Support Leadership on business development and pitch deck preparation.
- Technical installation of productions into a venue and management of production resources.
- Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, often negotiating conflicting requests and needs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
