How you will create impact
You will develop and deliver innovative AI solutions, helping our client to become a leader in applying Generative AI to solve complex business challenges within the insurance space. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a newly formed team with the resources and support to explore fresh, creative approaches. With your expertise, they will create smarter, more efficient, and personalized insurance solutions that set new standards for the industry.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing the architecture and roadmap for multiple large or mid-sized business applications, ensuring they align with the client's GenAI strategy and enterprise standards.
- Leading the development of technical and functional solution architectures, covering areas such as cloud, security, integration, DevOps, and automation.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and principles that support AI/ML integration and drive business transformation.
- Guiding the creation, adoption, and dissemination of architecture standards across the organization, influencing engineering teams and senior leadership.
- Overseeing the end-to-end execution of architecture initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and maximizing the business value of AI-driven solutions.
What is needed to be successful:
- You have extensive experience leading the architecture, design, and roadmap of large-scale business applications or functional technology solutions, with a focus on secure architecture and AI integration.
- You are highly proficient in managing end-to-end architecture for multiple business applications across different geographies and program sizes.
- You are skilled in collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to drive the adoption of AI/ML and cloud-native technologies, ensuring alignment with EA/ITIL frameworks and enterprise and Ethical standards.
- You have experience managing technical solution architecture in hybrid environments, integrating both on-prem and cloud-based (AWS) infrastructure to create secure and scalable solutions, with advanced knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, APIs, Microservices, Open Data, and DevSecOps.
- You are an experienced leader who excels at providing strategic direction to architecture initiatives and mentoring junior team members.
It would be nice if:
- You are passionate about leveraging emerging technologies such as SaaS, microservices, DevSecOps, and predictive analytics to drive innovation.
- You have experience working with highly regulated industries and are familiar with the unique challenges of implementing AI solutions in these environments.
- You are knowledgeable about ethical standards and controls for Generative AI and have successfully implemented AI/ML models within large enterprises.
- You have familiarity and experience with business and Insurance functions such as channel and distribution, submission and file management, price and quote, policy and service, forms ecosystems, claims, money movement, billing and collections, finance ledgers and reporting, reinsurance, foundational DWF services, data modeling and usage, actuarial, shared business platforms, corporate systems.
