As a member of the IT Management Team, you are responsible for managing, developing, and leading a team of employees. Your role includes leading the specific functional responsibilities of your team, which involves overseeing team performance and deliverables. However, your role as a leader within our organization requires more than the management of resources and day-to-day operations. As a steward of the company, you are charged with the development and execution of your team’s strategic vision and plan and ensuring that your team’s actions align with the larger goals of the company and the IT Division.
This Director will lead a team of managers that are responsible for SAP Functional Analysts and ABAP Software Development Engineers. The teams are dedicated to providing top-tier service to our customers, maintaining strategic roadmaps and delivering results; driving a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement in SAP delivery for both U.S. and international operations.

- Leads the planning, design, implementation, communication, and delivery of the organization's SAP finance initiatives within areas of accountability.
- Leads a management team that is responsible for SAP Functional Analysts and ABAP development engineers that design, develop, maintain, and support the Accounting Finance applications and integrations.
- Maintains strategic roadmaps for SAP delivery teams and delivers results.
- Drives a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement in SAP delivery for both U.S. and international operations.
- Ensures the consistency and maintainability of new and existing SAP applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing technical standards, guidance, and reference architecture.
- Partners with PMO, QA/QE, infrastructure, and cloud teams to deliver highly performing and reliable SAP applications.
- Manages performance and drives honest and tough conversations with employees.
- This is a full-time management/leadership position (45+ hours per week).
REQUIRED
- 10+ years’ experience leading functional and delivery teams.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of SAP FICO application with proficiency in all modules of SAP finance (AP, AR, GL, AA, MM) and Vistex.
- Proven experience and deep knowledge of wholesale, retail, and manufacturing business processes.
- Proven experience and deep process knowledge in SAP Finance implementations and support.
- Strong IT leadership based on a foundation of delivering quality results within budget/schedule through motivation and accountability.
- Financial acumen.
- Strong SDLC methodology knowledge and experience with waterfall/agile/kanban.
- Experience managing application functional design and software development.
- Experience in understanding current and future SAP technology platforms, while effectively communicating and supporting execution of company strategies and priorities.
- Possesses strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams; ability to lead through positive influence.
- Ability to take a constructive and proactive approach to problem solving.

Pay Range: $160,000 - $230,000, Bonus and Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) eligible.
