Novant Health Director Retirement - Charlotte, North Carolina
As a member of the Total Rewards Center of Excellence (CoE), the Director, Retirement is responsible for leading the Retirement Department. The Director, Retirement has expert knowledge to understand the business strategy and local legislation and uses this knowledge to convey complex information to key stakeholders while promoting plan design and administration. They are expected to monitor and recommend retirement strategies and/or changes in response to the current legislation and business conditions that may be applied across the organization. This position is also responsible for developing and implementing strategies designed to promote retention and recruitment of top talent.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree, required. Human Resources or related degree. Graduate Degree, preferred.
Experience:
- 10 years experience, required.
- Minimum 4 years of successful supervisory/management experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with large scale retirement plans; to include relevant experience managing both defined benefit and defined contribution retirement programs and experience in program compliance, and acquisition activities.
Licensure/Certification: RPA, CEBS, SHRM, preferred.

- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, statutes, etc. which govern policies and practices.
- Thorough understanding and application of internal and external HR principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
- Subscribes to the highest standards of ethics and business/personal integrity.
- Ability to manage sensitive employee information in a highly confidential manner.
- Strong analytical, decision-making and documentation skills.
- Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize work.
- Excellent (Advanced) PC skills (Microsoft Suite, especially Excel modeling).
- Results oriented while being flexible and adaptable to change.
- Possess strong commitment to team environment dynamics with the ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives at appropriate times.
- Exceptional operations management with strong attention to project deadlines and details; broad-based experience in directing diverse operations to ensure organizational growth and advancement.
- Ability to distill complex topics into crisp and concise narratives that can be consumed by audiences with varying degrees of familiarity with the subject matter. Clear, concise communication skills (verbal, written).
- Effectively works in a fast-paced work environment to deliver results.
Additional Skills (preferred):
- Consultative approach when engaging with leaders and team members across the organization.
- Infor Healthcare working experience strongly preferred.
