The Senior Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the Investment Management team by ensuring that investment materials and information are accurate, timely, and effectively communicated. This position involves providing leadership, project management, and training to team members. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal communication. The Senior Associate will collaborate closely with team members to deliver exceptional client service.
Main Responsibilities
- Client Meeting Preparation:
- Review and verify the accuracy of client investment data.
- Collaborate with team members to communicate investment data effectively.
- Prepare and deliver client meeting materials in a timely manner.
- Attend client meetings and actively participate in presentations.
- Address issues and communicate resolutions as necessary.
- Database Management:
- Maintain performance aggregation and private equity databases using Addepar software.
- Review market trades for accuracy and completeness.
- Client Support:
- Respond promptly and accurately to client requests (e.g., new accounts, paperwork, investments).
- Prepare and maintain necessary account documentation.
- Research and Projects:
- Conduct market research and complete special projects as required.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Interest in pursuing a professional investment certification.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in the financial industry, particularly with a range of investment products and custodians.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and adaptability.
