The Role
The Senior Lead Federal Marketing Manager will strategize, build and deliver integrated marketing campaigns in support of Lumen’s business objectives for the federal market (civilian, defense and intelligence). They will leverage a full suite of marketing tactics to support campaigns that move customers through the buyer’s journey.

This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.
The Main Responsibilities
- Develop integrated marketing campaigns using digital tactics, events, webinars, email, etc. to move customers through the buyer’s journey.
- Understand the surging topics that are influencing the public sector market and driving buy decisions; understand contract vehicles and the contract process to incorporate into efforts.
- Manage cross functional delivery teams that include building strategic plans, driving teams to deadlines, and determining what levers need to be pulled; Cross functional collaboration across marketing resources to execute tactics.
- Work with Sales and Customer Success teams to keep the organization aligned on campaign goals, results, best practices and learnings.
- Understand established goals and drive towards them; Track and report on Account Based Marketing (ABM) plays results and use data to optimize results.
- Collaborate with peer campaign managers to share best practices, lessons learned and accelerate process.
- Perform other duties, as necessary, to support the marketing team.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- 7+ years of related Marketing experience; Public Sector experience is required
- Versatile marketer with experience leading account-based marketing tactics in a B2B or B2G environment
- Highly strategic, consultative player who can plan and execute
- Strong project management skills and ability to use data to guide decision-making and resource allocation
- Must have excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to establish credibility and rapport with a broad set of Sales Leaders and cross functional peer groups
- Strong executive presence, presentation skills and negotiation skills aimed at driving business outcomes
- Ability to adapt to continually changing priorities and aggressive project timeframes
- Demonstrates highly effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across multiple organizations and management levels
Compensation
The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.
Location Based Pay Ranges
- $94,420 - $125,890 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, SD
- $99,390 - $132,510 in these states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, IA, IN, KS, MO, MT, ND, NM, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, WY
- $104,360 - $139,140 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, RI
- $109,330 - $145,770 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, WA
As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
