Position Overview
Renaissance is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Marketing Events Manager to lead our event strategy and execution efforts. This role will be responsible for building and executing an annual event strategy, leading a team of event professionals, and ensuring our events meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event planning and management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build an annual event strategy based on past performance and input from field marketing, sales teams, product and thought leaders across the organization.
- Develop comprehensive event plans for the year with the Field Marketing and Event teams, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead a team of event and tradeshow professionals focused on creating engaging customer experiences at industry tradeshows and Renaissance-branded events.
- Provide feedback and mentorship to team members to ensure continuous improvement and address workflow issues.
- Identify team training needs and support their development.
- Ensure with the Field Marketing team that Renaissance-branded events, such as roadshows, forums, and lunch-and-learn sessions, meet the expectations of sales teams and agreed-upon deliverables.
- Monitor and enhance current processes for requesting, approving, and executing events, consolidating them into a streamlined process.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and senior leaders, to define and execute event projects.
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards during events.
- Monitor and analyze event metrics/data to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to streamline event execution.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with cross-departmental teams, including sales, product, and marketing at Renaissance.
- Collaborate effectively with company leadership to ensure alignment on event goals and strategies.
- Conform to all safety rules and promote and enforce safety policies and procedures at events.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
- Experience managing teams of two or more individuals.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Background in education or educational technology is a plus.

Salary Range: $90,000-$105,000.
