Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to assume the role of Director of Maternity Suites at Holy Cross Health. The Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the maternity suites unit, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, and driving operational efficiency. This leadership role requires strategic vision, strong managerial skills, and a passion for promoting the well-being of mothers and infants.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all operational activities within the maternity suites unit to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery.
- Provide strong leadership to the clinical team, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional development, and quality improvement.
- Support the growth and development of staff members through mentorship, training, and ongoing education initiatives.
- Lead quality assessment and improvement efforts within the unit, implementing best practices and monitoring outcomes to enhance patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting agency standards, policies, and procedures to maintain high-quality care standards.
- Align unit activities with the mission and values of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital, promoting a patient-centered approach to care.
What you will need:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; graduate professional degree or related field.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or a Compact State.
- Specialty certification required within six (6) months of hire.
- Minimum five (5) years related clinical experience required. Minimum of three (3) years management experience in comparable area of an acute care setting is required.
Candidate must be capable of:
- Assessing current unit activities/problems in a clinical setting, evaluating alternative approaches, implementing programs/practices, and evaluating outcomes.
- Maintaining effective relationships with peers, other departmental staff and physicians.
- Effectively managing human, material, capital, and financial resources.
- English language proficient.
- Effective communication skills.
Pay rate: $54.94 - $82.40
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
