As the Vice President, Strategy Acceleration, you will drive high-impact growth and efficiency initiatives at Heritage Environmental Services. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer (CSTO), you will collaborate with operations, commercial teams, and functional departments on a variety of strategic initiatives.
Essential Functions & Requirements:
- Build and lead a high-performing team of project managers, analysts, and subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Deliver high-impact projects across the organization including Company Full Potential Plan (FPP) initiatives, post-merger integration (PMI), reorganization, pricing, and digital transformation.
- Define and institutionalize the organization's approach to project management and change management.
- Support the CSTO and Strategic Leadership Team (SLT) in identifying and prioritizing high-impact projects.
- Engage with CSTO, SLT, and Transformation Office on resource needs, roadblocks, risks, and successes related to project implementation.
- Perform regular tracking and reporting on the status and performance of strategic projects and initiatives.
- Deliver measurable EBITDA impact through projects focused on operational efficiency, commercial performance, functional optimization, and organizational agility.
- Provide post-merger integration support to Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team.
- Collaborate with the M&A team to build business cases for M&A opportunities.
- Support acquisition integration, ensuring the delivery of financial targets, synergies, and due diligence.
- Take on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Success:
- Overall annual team impact, measured in millions of dollars ($M) of EBITDA improvement from all Strategy Acceleration projects.
- Deliver or exceed project-specific revenue and EBITDA improvement targets.
- Deliver or exceed project-specific cost reduction and EBITDA improvement targets.
- Team utilization on high-impact projects, measured as percentage (%) of time.
- Qualitative feedback from project stakeholders, measured by post-project survey.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree (required).
- MBA (highly preferred).
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in project management or business transformation (required).
- Proven track record in delivering efficiency improvements and growth initiatives (required).
- Demonstrated experience building and leading high-performing, agile teams (required).
- Experience in organizational redesign and post-merger integration (preferred).
- Experience in environmental industry or in industrial production and process industries (preferred).
