POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the CEO, The Vice President of North American Markets leads the Company’s customer experience in North America, which includes shaping and executing our commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, and ensuring business objectives are met in alignment with the PRC-Saltillo Strategic Plan. The VP of North American Markets is responsible for promoting and expanding the company’s North American presence by increasing market awareness, identifying new market opportunities, and educating key customers. Together with the sales management, marketing and training teams, the VP of North American Markets monitors, analyzes, and directs KPIs to ensure Company objectives are met while driving a culture of collaboration that embodies the company’s core values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as a member of the US Leadership Team, including:
- Assisting the CEO and Leadership Team in building and nurturing a work environment that reflects the Company’s core values and mission.
- Collaborating in developing the Company's plans and programs, specifically providing strategic guidance for marketing, sales and distribution activities.
- Oversees the development of the annual expense and revenue budget for the combined Sales Teams, marketing and education teams.
Actively participates in Global market planning, including:
- Providing analysis and commentary on quarterly actual vs. projected sales across product categories and North American geographic markets as well as any updates in sales projections.
- Collaborating with other subsidiary leaders on providing vision for company-wide sales channels and activities.
- Developing annual global sales forecasts that support the Company’s mission and strategic plan.
Leads the North American Market Team, including:
- Researching and analyzing the needs of the North American Market
- Providing key input to the Product Team on North American Market needs
- Forecasting and delivering North American revenue, including funded- and non-funded revenue, apps, and revenue from training and other ancillary services
- Ensuring efficient and effective funding processing
- Developing, monitoring and analyzing KPIs that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction;
- Ensuring that the marketing priorities, training priorities and sales priorities are aligned in marketing campaigns, conference presence and ongoing training/ marketing needs.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Hires, trains, coaches, supervises, and mentors direct reports in the Sales/ Marketing/ Training Dept.
- Together with Departmental Managers, ensures the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Effectively represents the Company at various community, business, industry, and governmental meetings to promote the Company and its interests.
- Collaborates and communicates with internal teams to ensure efficiency in the delivery of products, quality of customer interaction, financial understanding, and analysis, and ensuring the customer perspective is included in strategic decision making, marketing and training activities.
- Acts as a liaison to the Company’s international subsidiaries on sales-related issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s, advanced degree or professional certificate in sales, marketing or business field required.
- A minimum of 15 years of professional experience with at least 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams
- Strong background in sales and marketing
- Experience with the medical device, healthcare or educational markets is preferred.

Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Regular travel (10-20%) within North America to industry trade shows and conferences, sales team meetings, and customer sites is required.
- Periodic international travel is required.
