To support Arm’s growth in India and enable our high-performing teams to deliver amazing products and solutions, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional Workplace Director to lead our Workplace team across India (Bangalore and Noida).
The individual will contribute to translating our Workplace Vision into local strategic plans and operational activities and will drive delivery of these. The role is part of our global Workplace Leadership Team and will be based in our Bangalore office. This role will provide active on-site leadership support there, as well as our team in Noida. Additionally, the role provides remote leadership and support to our smaller offices in Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan.
Responsibilities:
- Build and support positive engagement and collaboration as a partner of the India management team, business leaders, and local teams to review and understand issues, challenges, and opportunities.
- Translate this into strategic and operational facilities management actions for the Workplace team and external partners to successfully manage and deliver services that support and enable high performance, success, and growth.
- Own and enable delivery of the Bangalore office fit-out project. Grow connections to interpret and develop requirements and enable successful completion. Lead transition from the current office.
- Ensure the facilities operating model, team structure, and external partner services are aligned to efficiently run the new office. Ensure suitable out-of-hours and emergency support is maintained.
- Demonstrate outstanding leadership, aligned to Arm Core Beliefs. Act as a role-model, ambassador, and advocate within Arm and with external partners and suppliers.
- Build and lead a diverse, inclusive, engaged, and passionate team who will deliver at pace in support of Arm. Proactively develop teams and partners such as housekeeping, catering, and security.
- Enable growth and development through positive, supportive leadership and mentoring. Understand roles, development opportunities, and ensure a robust, scalable resourcing model.
- Build and maintain positive and productive engagement with our building Landlords and their management teams to ensure timely and proactive support where needed.
- Build and own regional operational expenditure budget and tracking. Input into regular budget forecast reviews to ensure alignment. Identify investment demands, develop estimates, prioritization, and justification for periodic budget review.
- Ensure accurate insight and data analysis for space and desk allocation, together with demand forecast, to handle or mitigate space risk and opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Leading a regional office portfolio and team in India, within a dynamic, fast-paced organization.
- Understanding of facilities management, vendor engagement, and procurement, building systems, and services.
- External vendor procurement, relationship and performance management to ensure strong partnership and consistent delivery.
- Track record growing and leading teams, on-site and remotely, across boundaries and in a matrixed operating model.
- Experience with facilities and workplace operating and delivery models, budget management, data-driven decisions, defining and delivering project management frameworks.
- Ability to strategize and influence at senior leadership level.
