The Opportunity
We are the market leader in software products and services for the creative, document & marketing ecosystem with Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, Express, Firefly and Experience Cloud.
The Director, Product Management for New Business Ventures will identify unmet business & customer needs by articulating customer problems, understanding the technology landscape & utilizing new Adobe technologies to drive meaningful new businesses (e.g., Creative Enterprise). The Director will work closely with Adobe Researchers in Generative AI and other disciplines. This leader will drive early product prototypes, user research and go-to-market motions to find product market fit.
The Director will also identify gaps in strategic operations and be able to turn problems into prioritized and well-executed programs that help run the new business ventures (e.g., Creative Enterprise).
A successful candidate will have a special mix of extreme customer orientation, a passion for tinkering & coding, a deep interest for new technologies (e.g., generative AI, creative/document/marketing workflows) and a "nose" for the money (e.g., meaningful business impact).
This role reports to the Vice President, New Business Ventures.
What you'll do
Identify unmet business & customer needs by articulating customer problems, technology trends, and new technologies.
Ability to synthesize changing landscape information into insights and impact to Adobe (so-what, then-what).
Conceptualize and personally code enterprise product and workflow prototypes using knowledge of creative production, document use, marketing tasks and Adobe/external APIs.
Partner well with internal product management, engineering and research teams to envision "the art of the possible".
Influence product roadmaps. Validate and iterate with customers, partners and internal collaborators. Gather technical product feedback from sales, customer success and professional services organizations. Embed at the customer as a customer engineer, as necessary.
Serve as technical authority on new technologies in Adobe Firefly Services (APIs), Creative Cloud technologies, and corresponding Digital Experience APIs and technologies.
Present compelling technical demos to Adobe senior leadership, Customers, partner events, conferences.

Validated experience in a 'start-up' or '0 > 1' scaling environment.
10+ years of proven professional experience across technical, strategic & operational roles, e.g. Product Management, Engineering; API usage, Strategy consulting, Business Operations, Chief of Staff, Product marketing.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $173,300 -- $344,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
