Location
Duties
- Manage an active criminal defense caseload under the supervision of the Maryland Managing Attorney.
- Represent clients zealously in all stages of criminal litigation, including plea negotiations, investigations, motions practice, trial, and sentencing.
- Conduct legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs.
- Develop and execute case strategies based on client needs and case analysis.
- Provide legal counsel to clients, advising them on the best course of action to achieve successful outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in criminal law.
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland.
- Ability to work independently and manage a heavy caseload.
- Strong communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and public speaking skills.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Active license to practice law in Maryland.
