Your Team Responsibilities:
MSCI, Inc. seeks Vice President, Analytics Consultant in New York, NY to manage relationships within the analytics client base by teaching clients how to harness MSCI’s equity and multi-asset class factor models and portfolio construction tools and demonstrating how they can be implemented in their portfolio construction and risk management processes.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Implement strategic plans to ensure client retention.
- Engage with clients and provide Best Practices guidance on risk measurement and management.
- Conduct research showing how the models and tools can be of value add with respect to portfolio management.
- Identify opportunities to increase client usage of products and identify new users.
- Work closely with the sales team on potential sales opportunities.
- Assist in campaigns on new product placement.
- Inform clients of product roadmap with a view on how development efforts will help achieve their business goals.
- Solicit client feedback regarding future product development.
- Work with internal functional teams to ensure that all client requests and inquiries are managed appropriately.
- Respond to detailed client enquiries about methodologies and analytics, hold advanced client trainings and workshops, and present in seminars.
- Maintain and communicate accurate records regarding client interaction activities.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel:
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: reviewing equity analytics datasets with Python including utilizing Python’s visualization capabilities and parsing dataset to demonstrate value; leveraging C++ to help clients implement and debug portfolio construction tools; building automated processes using Python around the creation of research sent to clients indicating what equity data signals about stock market; utilizing advanced mathematics including linear algebra, calculus, differential equations, and advanced statistics to explain how equity models work to quantitative research teams at hedge funds, banks, and trading firms; conveying advanced mathematical concepts in detail to both experts and traders and portfolio manager laymen who utilize data and portfolio construction tools in trading strategies and portfolios. 20% travel required nationally. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site. Offered salary is between $152,506 and $152,506 per year.
