Location: Ringwood, BH24 1EX
Full time – 40 hrs
Permanent
Salary: £42,000

As a Centre Manager with Bupa Clinics, you’ll be able to use your training and education to support our customers by providing education on how to Live Longer, Healthier, Happier Lives. Our customers are your priority and you’ll spend the majority of your time with them doing what you do best and what you trained for.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
Customer & Performance
- Leading and managing commercial and business needs of the Health Centre, overseeing and maintaining client contracts and business relationships.
- Driving operational efficiency through effective utilization and efficient scheduling of resources.
- Using insights from the Net Promoter System to continually drive improvements to the customer experience across their Health Centre.
- Seeking opportunities to maximize the business by owning the local marketing plan, raising the centre’s profile in the local community.
- Being the operational lead with key corporate companies and supporting the Area Manager with new business and service lines developments.
- Analyzing failure demand, customer satisfaction results, complaints and immediate feedback.
- Maintaining and developing a robust and proportionate control environment to ensure regulatory compliance (CQC).
- Being accountable for the identification and delivery of the Centre's cost improvements.
- Continuously measuring performance to understand any variation and proactively taking action on cost underperformance.
People Management
- Directly managing and influencing through the Centre management structures.
- Proactively seeking out opportunities to bring new skills into the team.
- Providing clear direction to direct reports and a consistent, structured methodology to delivery.
- Using insights from the employee NPS survey to continually drive improvements and engagement.
- Developing a performance management culture; consistently embedding initiatives and KPIs.
Other Responsibilities
- Responsible for all legal and statutory obligations including health and safety, data protection, and infection prevention.
- Ensuring compliance by all centre staff with all policies, procedures and protocols issued by Bupa Health Clinics.
- Working closely with clinical teams to ensure compliance with clinical governance requirements.
- Managing risks in accordance with Bupa’s Three Lines of Defence Model.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with employees, colleagues, customers and corporate clients.
- Strong experience of leading teams and people management.
- Experience of working in a regulated environment.
- Experience in the health and care and/or wellbeing industry.
- Good track record of driving business performance and delivering results.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- IT proficiency including the use of Microsoft office systems.
