Job Description:
Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Program Analyst supporting the ATLAS contract under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) International Operations (IO) programs, particularly the Operational Analysis (Ops) activities supporting government leadership's intelligence analysis, investigative case generation, and screening and vetting needs. As a Program Analyst, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter by joining our team to support enhancing the coordination, execution, and planning of the DHS HSI IO mission. This will include performance analysis of the programs reporting to IO leadership, assisting with logistical support activities, supporting the drafting and production of status and annual reports, identifying opportunities to enhance and improve the various IO mission tasks, and more.
HOW A PROGRAM ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Analyze programs and operations through the lens of agency and departmental strategic mission and goals to produce streamlined reporting and analysis of accomplishments and highlights as digestible artifacts for executive leadership and to include in annual reporting requirements.
- Evaluate IO mission performance of various activities to provide qualitative and quantitative analyses to inform both contract leadership and IO leadership of opportunities and challenges.
- Identify trends and provides analysis reports regarding the various domestic and international activities to further the IO law enforcement and intelligence missions.
- Support resource and workforce management and organizational design to improve overall division efficiency and ensure best use of resources to include documenting, tracking, analyzing, and reporting the outputs and outcomes of IO investigations, programs, initiatives, and operations.
- Utilize data-driven methodologies to enable IO to make more informed expansion decisions that are rooted in data and strategic priorities to include using financial impact assessments, resource levels, and law enforcement and open-source data sets.
- Will have direct engagement with IO leadership and support overall contract performance, meeting expectations and obligations while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and mission evolution.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- Required Experience: 3+ years of specialized experience in data visualization and analysis that equips the candidates with the skills needed to perform the job duties.
- Security Clearance Level: Must obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation for access to sensitive but unclassified information.
- Required Skills and Abilities: Converting complex information into easily understood Tableau dashboards and presentations. Briefing, educating, and informing senior management and staff on federal law enforcement data and dashboards.
- Preferred Skills: Advanced MS PowerPoint presentation development for federal law enforcement. Advanced MS Excel/data manipulation in a federal law enforcement environment. Developing complex Tableau Dashboards and utilizing for federal law enforcement. Familiarity with Cognos Business Intelligence Software.
