Position Overview: As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving new business within target markets, developing innovative solutions for prospective clients, and contributing to our client overall growth strategy. You will be part of the Sales team, responsible for crafting compelling sales solutions that resonate with both new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth by negotiating and closing new business opportunities, achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional after-sales support.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, targeting both existing and new markets.
- Create and deliver impactful sales presentations and tender documents in collaboration with support teams.
- Represent our client at industry events, promoting the company’s services and professionalism.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Ensure full compliance with company protocols and sign-off processes when pursuing new business opportunities.
- Provide regular updates on sales activity to the Sales Director and BU Leader.
- Support re-bids and variations for existing client contracts.
Candidate Profile:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required, MBA preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in finance, consulting, or analytics, with a minimum of 2 years in commercial real estate developing outsourcing solutions.
- Strong background in pricing and organizational development models.
- Real estate license preferred but not required.
Skills & Characteristics:
- Target-driven, with a track record of success in high-pressure sales environments.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with a meticulous approach to detail.
- Proven ability to build rapport and influence senior stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize under pressure, working both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required for meetings, site visits, and events.
- Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism.
Work Environment & Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to work beyond standard office hours to meet deadlines.
