Vice President of Finance
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining the financial reporting system that allows Credit Union of Ohio to monitor its goals and objectives. You will be responsible for the administration, review, and reconciliation of the credit union’s investment portfolio, asset/liability management system, and other credit union financial activities. Additionally, you will participate in the overall financial and strategic planning for the credit union and foster a positive working environment for employee empowerment through coaching and support. Regularly attends Board and ALCO Meetings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA preferred
- Minimum of three years of experience in management or supervisory capacity
- Extensive experience with GAAP
- Clear understanding of financial institution accounting department functions
- Ability to fully understand and apply all accounting treatments for credit unions as prescribed in the state Credit Union Act, by-laws, NCUA accounting manual, and other regulations
- Effective and professional communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
- Detailed organizational skills and strong PC skills
Reports directly to the CEO.
