Oracle Senior Principal Technical Consultant - Santa Fe, New Mexico
We are currently seeking a Senior Principal Consultant in our Technical Services department within the Oracle NetSuite Customer Success Consulting team. This position requires heavy interaction with customers, other NetSuite application developers, NetSuite implementation teams, and NetSuite partners. This individual will be a part of the team that scopes, designs, develops, and deploys custom scripts, integrations, and workflow solutions for our customers.
Typical Workload:
- 30% scripting, QA, creating and executing test plans.
- 30% customer facing, walking through use cases, reviewing test plans, and solving problems.
- 15% attending internal meetings including knowledge transfers and mentoring sessions.
- 10% integration consulting with customer and third-party systems.
- 10% executive updates, documentation, and overall project management.
- 5% data migration.
Responsibilities include:
- Track and report project progress to appropriate parties using NetSuite and Jira.
- Assist in defining custom scripts on NetSuite’s SuiteCloud platform.
- Collaborate with other NetSuite consultants to validate business/technical requirements through interviews and analysis.
- Produce system design documents and participate in technical walkthroughs.
- Lead technical work streams, design scripts, or validate scripts, and coordinate with other developers and QA.
- Conduct user acceptance testing for complex solutions.
- Assist in development, QA, and deployment processes as necessary to meet project requirements.
- Ability to work in a global team environment.
- Mentor less experienced consultants.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills include:
- 2-4+ years of NetSuite or other ERP/CRM Solutions. NetSuite highly preferred.
- A degree in mathematics, computer science, or engineering.
- NetSuite SuiteCloud Development/Design/Testing/Code Review experience.
- Experience leading technical work streams including global delivery teams.
- Exposure to system architecture, object-oriented design, and web frameworks.
- Ability to author detailed documents capturing workflow processes, use cases, and test cases.
- Software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology knowledge.
- Proficiency in error resolution, error handling, and debugging.
- Experience with IDEs (WebStorm preferred), source control systems (GIT preferred), and defect management tools.
- Experience with XML/XSL and Web Services (SOAP, WSDL, REST, JSON).
- Experience with Jira.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only:
Canada: Hiring Range from $76,700 to $167,000 CAD per annum.
US: Hiring Range: from $86,900 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
