A prominent national law firm is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Partner to join their expanding practice in the Portland office. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned attorney with a solid portable book of business and leadership qualities. The position offers a collaborative and collegial work environment within a growing, debt-free law firm.
Duties
- Expand and manage the Labor & Employment practice in the Portland office.
- Represent clients in labor and employment matters, including litigation and advisory services.
- Lead a team of attorneys in developing strategic legal solutions for clients.
- Collaborate with the firm’s other practice groups and offices to ensure comprehensive client services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Engage in business development activities to further grow the firm’s client base.
Requirements
- Minimum of $500,000 in portable business.
- Significant experience in labor and employment law.
- Proven leadership qualities and the ability to mentor junior attorneys.
- Strong client relationship and business development skills.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the Oregon State Bar.
Certifications
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Oregon.
- Additional bar admissions in relevant jurisdictions are advantageous but not required.
