Essential Job Functions
Partake in the development and implementation of Enterprise Application Architecture function. In addition, this role, working alongside of other application architects, will work with senior leaders to develop and architect strategic initiatives that align with the organization's overall solution objectives with keen focus in our EAI platform, MuleSoft. To be successful in this role, the Enterprise Application Architect Principle should have strong MuleSoft experiences, leadership and communication skills, attention to detail, as well as a deep understanding of relevant technology trends, Integration patterns and Anypoint platform best practices. Additionally, this role should be able to think strategically and work collaboratively with other departments to achieve the organization's goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)
- Partake in the development of Integration solution architecture, including the Target State Integration Architecture that addresses the Statement of Architecture Work and stakeholder expectations.
- Ensuring that enterprise integration architectures are aligned with the organization's overall solution goals and objectives.
- Developing and maintaining reference architecture, architecture building block (ABB), standards, and guidelines to ensure that the organization's technology is secure and compliant with industry standards.
- Identifying areas for capability improvement and implementing strategy, roadmap to address them.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to identify and participate in prioritize initiatives.
- Staying up to date with emerging technology trends and developments and evaluating their potential impact on the organization.
- Communicating technology target state, roadmap and development progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education, Work Experience, Skills
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with MuleSoft (Anypoint Exchange, Runtime Engine, Runtime Services, Connectors), preferred in a global capacity.
- 5+ years of experience with Azure Data Factory, Talend, and SSIS, preferred in a global capacity.
- Strong knowledge of architecture governance concepts, application design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience developing and implementing architecture governance, guidelines, procedures, and standards.
- Experience with one or more platforms such as Salesforce.com (Sales, Marketing Cloud), ServiceNow, Azure, Microsoft M365.
- Proven change management skills.
- Excellent communication, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with business and IT cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading a team of architects, technology owners, and technology subject matter experts.
Preferred:
- Strong presentation skills
- Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) experiences
- Work experience at a large professional services organization
Certificates, Licensures, Registrations
- Preferred: TOGAF certification
- Preferred: MuleSoft Platform or Integration Architect certification

Compensation:
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations.
- Washington D.C. - $199,000 -$240,000
