The British Library has a rare opportunity for an Application Specialist in our Ingest and Preservation team, based in Boston Spa (Wetherby) or St Pancras (London), with a hybrid working pattern.

About you:
- Experience of supporting, configuring, and monitoring third-party/packaged or bespoke applications
- Experience of operational acceptance testing and deploying changes to production systems using appropriate controls
- Excellent communicator with a demonstrable ability to work as part of a team to agreed customer service levels and SLAs
- Proven problem-solving skills using a logical and considered approach
- Proven systems analysis and documentation skills
- Experience of data migration and file management
- Experience of supporting applications in a Windows environment
- Knowledge and experience of SQL database querying
