Who you’ll work with: You will be part of the FGS Global Treasury function, whose mission is to influence and execute the Firm’s capital structure strategy while protecting the Firm from financial risk. You’ll work with leaders across the Firm spanning Finance, Operations, and Legal (including Tax, Accounting, FP&A, and M&A) as well as third parties including bankers, investors, insurance providers, and lawyers. Global Treasury is part of the Firm’s global Finance team.
This is a hybrid role that reports directly to the Global Treasurer and will be based out of New York City. You’ll be expected to be in the office about three days a week.
What you’ll do:
- Lead our 13-week global cash forecasting process. You’ll maintain our forecast model and look for ways to further enhance and automate it.
- Lead weekly cash reporting. You’ll produce and deliver weekly cash reporting including insights/commentary to key internal and external stakeholders including the CFO and our investor leads. This is a high visibility activity.
- Own all aspects of Kyriba, our Treasury workstation. You’ll create and manage reporting, own budget codes and connectivity, troubleshoot issues, ensure data integrity, and look for ways to improve/enhance how we use the system.
- Own the intercompany loan process end-to-end. You’ll manage all aspects of intercompany loans including interest calculations, disbursements/repayments, and documentation.
- Lead debt covenant compliance. You’ll work with the Treasurer to develop reactive and forward-looking compliance management tools, and lead the creation and distribution of covenants to our stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Treasurer on debt and capital markets activity. You’ll work closely on any debt issuances or other transaction deals.
- Lead Treasury Compliance including SOX and e-banking administration. You’ll lead monthly SOX testing/reporting and serve as the primary e-banking administrator for our global online banks.
- Support the Treasurer on global bank account management. You’ll collaborate with the Treasurer to analyze bank fees and share of wallet, and look for ways to evaluate bank performance. You’ll play a lead role in managing our global banking relationships.
- Proactively identify opportunities for operational and strategic improvements within Treasury. You’ll have the opportunity to improve the quality of our reporting and analysis, or to otherwise develop and drive Treasury’s strategy. Having a mindset of improvement, automation, and operational excellence will be a key success factor for this role. This is a senior role and you will be empowered to identify and implement improvements.
- Support the Treasurer on global insurance. You’ll work with the Treasurer on underwriting and claims, and take the lead on operational insurance requests, having an opportunity to directly interact with our broker and insurers.
- Work with the Treasurer to create a vision and strategy for the global Treasury function as it matures and grows with FGS.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Treasury or Corporate Finance experience at a global organization.
- Knowledge of corporate finance required. This is a strategic Treasury role where you’ll need to be comfortable with financial statement analysis and intermediate/advanced excel modelling. You’ll need to be comfortable occasionally getting into debits and credits, and should understand a Balance Sheet.
- Comfort researching and analyzing the root cause of issues, and a desire to create long-term solutions for them.
- Willingness to speak up and offer recommendations. You have great ideas, and people should hear them.
- Ability to own processes and activities end-to-end. You are comfortable designing and changing/improving procedures, and feel empowered with implementing them.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do occasional administrative work.
- Experience with Treasury workstations (ideally Kyriba) is preferred but not required. A willingness to embrace and champion Treasury technology, including Kyriba, is required.
New York City Salary Range: $130,000—$160,000 USD
