What you'll do:
We are seeking an experienced interest rate derivatives specialist to help our clients hedge the interest rate risk on their floating rate debt by using interest rate swaps and caps. This is an exciting role to join a young but growing department that will drive client solutions and provide opportunity for growth.

Finally, we are looking for a well-rounded individual; personable, strong work ethic, great verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently and think creatively when needed. If you feel you are a good fit, we would love to hear from you.
What we are looking for:
- Drive sales and revenue by identifying opportunities with existing borrowers.
- Provide hedging guidance and assist with trade execution. If required, should be able to independently execute transactions from the initial pitch to execution without requiring oversight assistance.
- Help with legal documentation and credit as needed.
- Develop communications, create training material and conduct training sessions for customer-facing employees and clients.
- Back up other team members when needed.
- Work closely with internal partners in Lending, Operations, Legal, Marketing, Compliance, Risk, IT and other areas.
- Monitor trends and make relevant recommendations, to ensure our offering continues to evolve and remains competitive.
- Attend corporate events and client meetings when needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university and six (6) or more years of related experience and/or training; or a combination of experience and education.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in interest rate derivatives sales or trading with a commercial or investment bank.
- An understanding of fixed income, interest rate derivatives and various forms of lending, especially real estate, is required.
- Familiarity with The Dodd Frank Act, ISDA documentation, credit underwriting for derivatives and all standard industry norms and practices. Will be required to adhere to all internal and external regulatory and compliance guidelines.
- Requires excellent analytical, conceptual, oral and written communication skills.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, including an advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Bloomberg, is required. Knowledge of other market-based software platforms is strongly preferred.
Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $131,000.00 - $161,874.00 for Denver, CO. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.

We offer all the important things you'd want - like competitive salaries, an ownership stake in the company, medical and dental insurance, time off, a great 401k matching program, tuition assistance program, an employee volunteer program, and a wellness program.
