Job Responsibilities
This leader will be responsible for the strategy and execution of all store level workforce planning and allocation.
What Would You Do? The Specifics.
- Develops and executes comprehensive workforce management strategies that align with the organization's objectives, business goals and culture.
- Provides visionary leadership and direction to the workforce management and overall Store Operations team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversees the development of workforce plans that anticipate future needs and ensure optimal staffing levels to meet customer and patient demands.
- Implements effective scheduling processes to maximize productivity and minimize labor costs.
- Partners with Store Operations, Human Resources, Legal, Finance and other departments to drive implementation.
- Utilizes advanced analytics to provide insights and recommendations on workforce trends, performance, and areas for improvement.
- Develops and maintains dashboards and reports to monitor key workforce metrics and support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensures the integration of workforce management solutions with other business systems to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
- Partners with Legal and Human Resources to ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies related to workforce management and incentive compensation.
- Identifies and mitigates risks associated with workforce planning and scheduling.
- Collaborates with operational leaders to understand headcount needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Acts as a key advisor to senior leadership on workforce management strategies.
- Builds, mentors, and leads a high-performing workforce management team.
- Promotes professional development and continuous learning opportunities for team members.
- Investigates FTE (Full Time Equivalent) Forecast across Client Coverage to ensure alignment with objectives and alerts line manager and provincial stakeholders timeously of any anomalies.
- Facilitates the development of new WFM reports to support relevant decision-makers.
- Provides insights to senior leadership team regarding current/past business performance and recommendations to optimize results.
- Identifies and highlights high staff turnover to business, to ensure that recruitment plans make provision for anomalies.
- Monitors real time within the relevant business units for schedule adherence.
- Creates and maintains a joint-leadership model between workforce and frontline management.
Preferred Qualifications
Work Experience
- 10+ years of experience in workforce management, finance, or a related field. (Required)
