If you are looking to join a dynamic organization, we are searching for an ambitious and inquisitive Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The analyst will be relied upon to provide key analysis for the finance and sales teams. The ideal candidate has exceptional critical thinking skills, attention to detail, prior analysis experience, and the desire to grow their career.
The primary objective of this role is to assist the Cement Sales team in fostering a strong Commercial Analytics Culture. This involves accurately tracking, adjusting, and analyzing sales forecasts and plans, while collaborating closely with Supply Chain and Marketing to implement the defined commercial and marketing strategies for the product line. This position supports a good standing in the community, sustainable operations, and adheres to and upholds all company policies, safety standards and federal/state regulations.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and evaluation of:
- Profitability for both current and potential cement sales
- Cement market dynamics
- Competitor activities and market share assessment
- Identification and quantification of new profit opportunities
- Sales volume forecasting
- Strategic product analysis
- Leverage diverse data sources to assess current business conditions and analyze industry trends.
- Partner with the Sales Team to enhance and optimize reports and analytical tools for real-time insights.
- Actively design demand planning process improvement initiatives.
- Analyze market trends and macroeconomic impacts on demand: oversee and analyze volume, pricing, and margin metrics; produce comprehensive market information reports.
- Coordinate the monthly sales forecasting process.
- Prepare and compile key reports and visual presentations with actionable insights for monthly Commercial Reviews.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process.
- Execute a variety of ad hoc analyses as needed.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
- 5-7 years preferred of commercial or financial analysis experience collecting and analyzing large amounts of business or sales data, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred.
- Advanced in PowerBI/Tableau.
- Ability to form independent analysis, with attention to detail.
- Strong investigative skills to ensure relevant information is gathered to form accurate conclusions.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial modeling and proven ability to develop business case analyses to aid in the executive level decision-making process on various business opportunities.

- Proven ability to effectively interact at an executive level.
- The ability to meet critical deadlines and work with urgency.
- Motivated, self-starter, proactive and action oriented.
