Summary
LendingTree is seeking an inspiring leader to guide, lead and grow the software teams within our Marketplace technology teams. To maintain and improve performance as the business scales, we need experienced leadership to lead and develop the teams, build for the future, and work cross-functionally at the leadership level to craft technical and business strategy. You will help develop technical strategy and drive process and culture within the Marketplace engineering organization. You will participate in major architectural and technical decision-making processes while working closely with product management and leadership to ensure that product features can be delivered successfully.

- Lead software engineering teams that design, build and maintain solutions for Marketplace technology products.
- Partner with product leaders and business managers to establish priorities across product groups.
- Develop long term technical roadmap and overall strategy to anticipate risk, and iterate our way to a target.
- Lead implementation of complex engineering solutions across the enterprise.
- Ensure work product across engineering teams is high quality and sustainable.
- Provide insight and guidance. Resolve multi-functional issues that are raised throughout the application development, testing, implementation, and support lifecycle.
- Ensure the creation of SOPs, critical metrics and overall operationalization of assigned services or applications within a product group.
- Partner with various leaders to ensure technology solutions built by the engineering team align to overall architectural and business standards.
- Ensure the alignment and support of diverse project partners by building and maintaining trusting relationships with internal customers.
- Set goals, strategies, budgets and oversee the deployment of large/enterprise scale initiatives and encourage a data-driven culture to improve the efficiency, scalability, stability, and security of applications.
Qualifications
- B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in software engineering and product technologies.
- 5 years of experience leading a large, distributed Software Development and agile delivery organization.
- Expert understanding of cloud platforms (Azure/Amazon/AWS) and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong partner collaboration, agile delivery and prioritization skills.
- Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for people, leadership, team building, and technology.
