Job Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Regional Vice President, the VP Sales & Marketing is responsible for overseeing the development of the short and long-term product sales strategy for the Greater Boston Region. This VP will lead a team consisting of 385 employees which includes 4 directors and 30 managers. Implements the annual tactical plan to ensure the success of the residential sales programs, monitoring the progress of sales and reviewing records/reports provided to senior leadership. This VP oversees the organization, promotion and orchestration of all sales activities to ensure the success of the Company's Product Sales campaign. Defines and recommends new products and services for market opportunities. The Greater Boston Region has approximately 1800 employees across MA, ME and NH. Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Manages an annual operating budget for Product Sales.
- Develops sales strategies and marketing plans. Identifies tools to assist with sales activities and action steps to follow in the sales campaign.
- Recognizes profitability and revenue potential in business opportunities.
- Oversees the selection and training of Product Sales personnel and the coordination of all logistical aspects of the sales program.
- Oversees advertising and promotional activities.
- Develops cross channel strategies with peers to ensure Company-wide sales objectives are met.
- Interfaces with functional peers to ensure identification of barriers to success and creates appropriate response tactics/strategies.
- Develops sales incentives to align with strategies and channel deployment as necessary.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
