The candidate will serve in the invalidity analysis of patents and prior art. Responsibilities include drafting IPR/PGR petitions and legal and technical arguments/briefing, working with experts to prepare expert testimony, conducting and defending expert depositions, and oral advocacy before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. A JD from an ABA-accredited law school is required. Candidates should preferably have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of study and must be admitted to or eligible for admission in Massachusetts, New York, or Washington, DC. Admission to practice before the USPTO is preferred. Patent litigation experience before the PTAB is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed.
