As an associate in our group, you will advise cutting-edge clients ranging from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies in the technology, life science, green energy, and cleantech space, including:
Responsibilities:
- Interfacing directly with clients to provide mission-critical advice on all aspects of employment law, including hiring, leaves of absence, internal investigations, terminations, trade secret protection, restrictive covenants, and various employee mobility issues;
- Drafting and reviewing employment policies, executive agreements, separation agreements, and other key employment documents;
- Advocating for clients in employment-related disputes before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and arbitral panels;
- Working with and assisting other team members on multi-jurisdictional disputes and matters;
- Assisting and advising on various employment-related matters in mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and other corporate transactions, gaining valuable cross-disciplinary experience.
Minimum Requirements:
- Superior academic credentials and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range of $260,000 – $365,000, based on year classification.
- Discretionary merit bonuses may also be awarded.
