Duties
- Serves as senior member or coordinator of a project/program support team responsible for business systems requirements assessment, evaluation, analysis, elicitation, interpretation, planning, design documentation, testing, validation, implementation, and maintenance of an assigned area/subsystem in DLA Information Operations.
- Evaluates and analyzes the customer’s business system requirements feasibility, cost-effectiveness, integrity, completeness, compliance, computability and testability.
- Assists in the evaluation, selection, and integration of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and/or Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) solutions.
- Identifies and defines system interface requirements for feasibility, cost-effectiveness, integrity, completeness, compliance, compatibility, and testability.
- Tests and validates that all software modifications meet system specifications and fulfill the approved business system requirements.
- Conducts and/or participates in research and investigation of technological developments that have potential to improve the design, documentation, modification, testing, installation, implementation and support of new or existing applications software.
