Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as a liaison for owner and partner entities for the contract, design systems, procedures and related deliverables.
- Demonstrates functional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure compliance with construction/project requirements.
- Obtains, maintains and manages data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, architects, engineers, and other project-related entities.
- May represent owner, project and related parties in public forums and meetings.
- Manages project controls, cost and performance activities and procedures, procurement, project logistics, organization, systems and project close-out.
- May lead project meetings.
- Documents and tracks relevant information and project statuses.
- May coordinate, direct, and monitor activities of construction management staff, contractors, engineers, architects, and related performing entities.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent degree.
- 5-10 years of progressive project management experience.
- Experience with construction management processes and knowledge of construction means and methods.
- Knowledge of project delivery and time management, and how to deal with unanticipated events and unforeseen conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and computer skills.
- Proficient in reading and understanding contract documents, plans and specifications.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project and/or Primavera.
- Ability to work independently to achieve client goals.
- Understanding of project financing sources, issues, and practices.
