McKinley Orthopedic, Sports Medicine and Spine is looking for another PA-C to join the team! We offer a congenial atmosphere with a patient-centered philosophy. McKinley Orthopedics is recruiting a Physician Assistant for their expanding practice. Seeking an FT Physician Assistant with orthopedic/spine experience is preferred but willing to train for the right individual. The position works under the supervision of an orthopedic surgeon.

Responsibilities:

Providing acute and chronic patient care including patient histories.
Perform pre-and post-operative patient care.
Wound care and suturing.
Monitor therapies.
Prescribe appropriate medications.
Order/interpret tests.
Assist in orthopedic/spine surgery cases.
Practice call coverage.

Job Requirements:

Graduate of accredited physician assistant program.
Current PA license.
NCCPA certified or eligible.
At least one year in orthopedics is preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Strong computer skills; EMR experience a plus (Advanced MD/Dragon Speak).
