Sr System Requirements Engineer
This role will own and manage the requirements for New Product Innovation (NPI) at Haemonetics. This will encompass the strategy and administration for capturing, tracing, analyzing, and managing changes to design inputs and outputs.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining consistent practices within the requirements management environment, which includes data created internal to programs.
- Establishing strong working relationships and integrating across programs and functions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve DOORS errors from both users and automated scripting.
- Owning DOORS administration; creating modules for platforms; synchronizing modules between devices; exporting DOORS reports (e.g., specifications traceability and metrics); and working user problems (e.g., installation, privileges).
- DOORS importing/exporting, creation and updating training materials, and acting as an interface to other DOORS users, managing account access, and creating archives.
- Driving the completeness and consistency of attributes and linkages within programs’ DOORS environments and working knowledge and expertise in creating and managing dxl files.
- Develop and run scripts to automate DOORS tasks such as linking, post-processing, archiving, and error checking.
- The composition and flow-down of user needs, engineering requirements, system requirements, software requirements, specifications, and test evidence.
- Responsible for management/creation of product test requirements and analysis. Development of system hardware, software, and interface test cases with validated test methods (TMV).
- Demonstrated experience generating technical documentation such as requirements, specifications, engineering reports, plans & procedures.
- Experience in embedded devices design, development, verification, and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Engineering, or Mathematics and 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with requirements management in DOORS Classic and associated tools.
