Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer will work with a team to design and develop software and tools for Tensorcom WiGig products, maintain WFA software and hardware configuration for interoperating with other vendors’ chipsets at plug-fest events and certification, and provide lab and customer software support. You will train technicians to perform demonstrations and teach new team members the software flow process.
Essential Functions
- Architect software flow
- Support demonstrations
- Plug-fest and certification support
- Verification of hardware design on FPGA
- Firmware development and debugging
Position Requirements
- BS in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 3-5 years’ experience with a combination of the following: GUI, firmware, and Windows driver development
- Experience with Linux device driver. Strong programmer in C/C++ and working knowledge of Python
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of 802.11AD protocol or similar as well as iOS/Android development
- Experience with Windows driver development and the ability to program using command line
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
Salary: $150,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
