Job Summary:
The Sales Executive focuses on incremental revenue growth. Sells new service lines into assigned accounts and hunts new territories to increase our footprint within their assigned territory/accounts by prospecting, networking, and executing marketing initiatives. Responds to RFPs (Request for Proposals), strategically develops proposals, and facilitates all new business in the sales process, engaging the team where necessary. Hands off new business and relationships to the dedicated Account Manager that will continue to manage and develop the relationship. The Sales Executive is a pure sales role that hunts incremental opportunities within Cornerstone, Future Cornerstone and Enterprise accounts.
What You’ll Do:
- Works closely with the Team Leader and Account Manager to assist in the development of the overall account strategy. Regularly participates in quarterly business reviews with Team Leader to present the account's health and growth.
- Develops relationships and works effectively with key stakeholders including buying centers leadership, facilities managers, and other key decision makers. Works collaboratively across National Account teams leading and supporting sales initiatives.
- Proactive selling activities including contacting prospects via calls, emails, texts measured daily, weekly, and monthly through networking, trade show attendance, buying center management and pipeline management. Buying center management includes identifying new centers, networking, and winning new business. Pipeline management includes producing new opportunities in adjacent/new buying centers, preparing proposals, and closing new business.
What You Need:
- 7+ years of sales experience with developed selling skills selling into executive suite
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent sales experience
- Facilities maintenance experience preferred with deep industry and service line knowledge
- Working knowledge and networking within our customer base preferred
- Executive presence, presentation and influencing skills required
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Embrace technology including ability to gain working knowledge of software applications quickly.
- Business travel when required to support accounts and new business growth.
