The Role
With over 40,000 employees across 200 locations delivering $2 billion in revenue per year, Levy is responsible for millions of memorable guest experiences across some of the most iconic locations in the country. The role of Regional VP of Operations is responsible for client relationships and retention through strategic and innovative improvements, promoting and instilling Levy values through all levels of management in the region, and creating development plans for leadership growth.
Responsibilities
- Line managers location leaders and the Regional Director of Operations, fostering a culture of collaboration and operational excellence.
- Integral in fostering and maintaining partner relationships, supports high level business reviews with senior partners.
- Responsible for client retention, overall Leads the relationship with the most senior level client/partner contacts.
- Strives to anticipate and fulfill clear client/partner needs to ensure long-term contract stability and business growth.
- Participates in and documents bi-monthly meetings with Partner during business operating season at each location on non-event days to strategically review business needs and client satisfaction.
- Participates in and documents quarterly meetings with Partner during the off season at each location to strategically review business needs and client satisfaction.
- Prepares and participates in formal annual client presentations reviewing year-end and look-forward for each business within Region.
- Partners with the Strategic Alliance Group to build and maintain a robust retention plan from the first day.
- Focuses on business renewals, special projects and seeking new business streams and new client relationships.
- Ensures all safety, sanitation and responsible alcohol management standards and protocols are in place within the Region.
- Uses Company recognition framework to celebrate achievements, performance and personal events. Ensures open communication and understanding between Home Office disciplines and operations.
- Promotes and instills Levy philosophies and business standards throughout all levels of management within Region.
- Promotes a team building and cooperative work environment that maximizes productivity and morale within Region.
- Owns the interview and selection process for new location leaders.
- Support the Talent Review and succession planning processes to ensure plans are in place to meet regional staffing needs.
- Utilizes development plans for leadership team to cultivate continual growth and advancement.
- Works with New Business and Finance for new account and renewal business deal buyoff.
- Develops strategic framework to grow and enhance revenues at locations within Region.
- Encourages and proposes innovative and creative ideas that drive incremental sales and organic growth.
- Ensures full compliance and execution of all Home Office initiatives, procedures and core signature standards.
- Ensures "show quality" aspects of all locations within Region. Develops and communicates long-term strategic plan for Region.
- Strategically drives Region to provide creative and innovative ideas to enhance all operations.
- Supports the implementation of new Company initiatives to ensure proper introduction and execution.
- Ensures complete compliance with all aspects of financial and risk controls within Region.
- Partners with Regional Finance team in the development of appropriate and accurate budgets to ensure all operations within Region meet Company and client expectations.
- Responsible for the forecast process by reviewing operational unit forecasts to ensure accuracy of monthly projections and going out number for key statistics such as sales, PBITDAR and PBIT.
- Accountable for entire Region P&L.
Skills / Qualifications
- Minimum of five to seven years of multi-account management as District/Regional Manager or above.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience in the food service industry including a vast knowledge of establishing client relations and maintaining long term client relationships.
- Expertise of the P&L impact and accounting practices.
- Possess excellent training and development skills and extensive opening experience of new accounts (Requires presentation skills where revenue generating ideas and/or menu tastings are presented and discussed).
- Strong communication and client management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Ability to travel as needed for Division needs.
