Position Summary:
As a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Indirect Procurement, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies across various indirect categories such as IT, professional services, facilities management, and HR services. Your role will focus on optimizing spend, ensuring supplier performance, and driving value through strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and align procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for assigned indirect categories to achieve cost savings, improve service levels, and ensure quality and compliance.
- Supplier Management: Manage supplier relationships, conduct negotiations, and secure contracts that deliver value across quality, service, and cost.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to understand trends, assess risks, and identify opportunities within the procurement landscape.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, ensuring alignment of procurement strategies with business goals.
- Cost Savings: Identify and deliver cost savings and efficiency improvements through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and process optimization.
- Contract Management: Oversee the contract lifecycle from development to renewal, ensuring contracts deliver expected value and comply with company policies.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with suppliers and procurement activities.
- Sustainability and Diversity: Incorporate sustainability and diversity objectives into procurement strategies, promoting responsible sourcing practices.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis on category performance, savings achieved, and market intelligence.
Working Relationships: External Vendors and Internal stakeholders across marketing, finance, IT, HR, etc.
Requirements:
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
Preferred Education: Master’s degree.
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a category management role focused on indirect procurement.

Additional Info:
Travel: Ability to travel independently 5%.
Hours & Conditions: Monday – Friday 8 hour day in office setting.
Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
