OTO Development is pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Director of Sales Support.
What will you be doing most days?
- Develop annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives
- Direct the implementation and execution of sales policies and practices
- Responsible for onboarding and training directors of sales as well as on-property sales teams
- Provides task force support for pre-opening and newly managed sites
- Ensure communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives, and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with marketing
- Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses
- Implement approved distribution strategies and manage multiple channel selling strategies
- Build, develop, and manage the sales teams at each property for an efficient, profitable sales department
What are the requirements for this position?
- You have a minimum of 5 years of hotel sales experience with a leadership/management role preferred
- You have a college degree in sales, business, management, or similar field
- You are action oriented and have strong negotiating skills
- You have an extensive record of proven leadership skills directing the efforts of others to achieve budgeted expectations.
- You have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- You have a valid driver's license
Physical Requirements For This Position
You must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time as the job dictates.
Travel Requirements
This position requires up to 100% travel. Travel is outside the local area and overnight.
