Job Title: Associate General Counsel - Hybrid/Local

Responsibilities Include
Regional Americas:- Strategic Partnership: Build and nurture strong relationships as a key partner to Momentive's businesses and functions within the Americas Region.
- Legal Business Support: Provide expert day-to-day legal advice to our Americas business teams, including contract drafting, negotiation, and strategic risk management for various departments.
- Corporate Governance: Attend to regional corporate housekeeping and governance matters.
- Ethics & Compliance: Actively oversee Momentive's Integrity program in the Americas, ensuring adherence to our Code of Conduct and Compliance Policies.
- Transaction Support & Project Management: Handle legal aspects of strategic projects including mergers & acquisitions and corporate reorganizations.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the Americas Legal team, aligning with Momentive's Core Competencies.
- Dispute Management: Manage all legal disputes including customer and vendor claims, litigation proceedings, and government investigations within the region.
- Outside Counsel Management: Select, coordinate, and manage outside counsel engagements, optimizing legal spend.
- Legal Operations: Oversee Americas legal operations, including budgeting and resource management.
Global:- Global Practice Group: Lead one of the Legal Team's global practice groups.
- Global Stewardship: Foster the Legal Team's global stewardship model by supporting one of Momentive's global businesses on strategic legal matters.
- Industry-Vertical Support: Provide global legal support for a strategic industry-vertical, focusing on profitable growth and legal risk management.
Qualifications
The following are required for the role:- US Bar Admission
- 12+ years of experience with multinational law firms and/or corporations.
- Sound business judgment, practical solutions-oriented approach focused on allocation of business and operational risk.
- Strong presentation skills and an inclusive, team player mentality with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently, manage conflicting deadlines, and take ownership of a broad range of responsibilities.
- Management experience.
- Unwavering commitment to integrity, professionalism, and a passion for excellence.
The Following Are Preferred For The Role:- Preferred admission to the New York Bar.
- Manufacturing/chemical industry experience.
- Litigation Management.
- Transactional expertise (M&A, Financing).

What We Offer
Base Pay Range: $183,500.00 - $268,950.00. The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable.
