Non-Exempt - Hourly wage plus incentive compensation plan
Job Summary:
As a Fleet Salesperson, you will be responsible for organizing and optimizing our transportation fleet to ensure we are meeting customer demands and exceeding expectations.
Essential Functions:
- Generate business by soliciting commercial and fleet accounts over the phone, internet, in person or mail
- Works directly with business, fleet, and private guests to maximize sales and profit for the fleet department
- Responds to guest inquiries over the phone or internet in a timely and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction
- Introduces guests to dealership operations, including the service and parts departments, to emphasize the quality and efficiency of the dealership's service operations
- Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to guest satisfaction
- Maintains and achieves the sales and customer satisfaction objectives set by management
- Works with current service customers
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s license and safe driving record; required to have California within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to monitor fleet budgets
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety requirements
- Ability to set and meet deadlines
- Ability to operate the store's point of sales (POS) system
Physical Demands:
- Regularly stands, walks, sits; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks and hears. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls; lifts up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to inspect fleet damage in a variety of weather conditions.
- Good vision to inspect repair work.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
- Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
