Realogy is looking for a product innovator with outstanding people leadership, execution, and collaboration skills to join as our Chief Product Officer. We are in the process of redefining the residential real estate market to drive a digital transformation of buying and selling homes. We do this from a position of strength with the largest agent network, the largest residential brokerage, an advantaged position in luxury, an unparalleled footprint in title and escrow, and JVs in mortgage and insurance. To accelerate our journey towards simple, safe, and fast experiences for consumers, agents, and brokers, we want to add to our executive team a digital-first product leader with experience optimally innovating in sophisticated, disparate ecosystems and delivering products that truly solve customer problems.
The ideal candidate can articulate a clear and specific vision for our products to a diverse range of audiences and the ability to lay out the clear execution path to achieve the vision. Collaboration with a broad range of internal and external partners, including Technology, Go to Market teams, franchise brokers, agents, and strategic alliances will be critical to success. We are looking for a strong leader with the ability to communicate and drive clarity and excitement across all areas of the company and with brokers, agents and consumers and can integrate design, development, and strategy. As a member of the executive team, you will also serve as an evangelist for our product and drive alignment and progress among your executive peers and across Product & Engineering leadership.
What do you do?
- Define Realogy’s Product strategy and define the plan for delivering on its innovation Roadmap.
- Build, lead, mentor, and set the strategic direction for our team of product professionals.
- Systematically analyze broker, agent, and consumer opportunities and translate these into solutions that drive loyalty to Realogy.
- Partner with Technology on fast, predictable, and high-quality delivery and will partner with Marketing and Sales to launch and scale innovations.
- Inspire audiences on the Realogy solution, driving radical alignment behind our product vision.
- Partner closely with Realogy’s Corporate Development team to articulate our build / buy framework, identify M&A opportunities, deliver robust diligence, and lead all aspects of product integration.
- You will continue to scale the product development process with Engineering including accurate forecasting and communications of product progress leveraging tools like Scaled Agile Framework.
Leadership & Experience
- Demonstrated effectiveness scaling product innovation in a sophisticated, multi-layered ecosystem.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and well-adapted at linking strategy to execution. Able to identify the key points of leverage in a system and develop plans to influence them. Comfortable with complex systems that have players with divergent economics and incentives.
- Excellent people leadership skills of organizations of over 50 solid line and much larger partner organizations. People who have worked for you have gone on to deliver outstanding results on their own. You establish processes that drive the right levels of cross functional team and individual accountability and enable us to operate with the right balance of independence (to go fast) and collaboration (to go far).
- Communication is a Super-Power: You are at-ease with serving as the go-to evangelist for Realogy’s product vision with brokers, agents, consumers, partners, investors and employees. You are expert at bringing excitement alongside credibility.
- Track record of successfully challenging the status quo to deliver innovation that has ultimately achieved broad success.
- Technical acumen to be a strong partner for the Technology organization, ability to understand what level of clarity they need about the long term in order to build successfully and with the right balance of flexibility and speed. You can go deep with Engineering leadership to collaborate on technical solutions.
- Experience acquiring and integrating companies is preferred.
