POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Ecommerce is accountable for delivering the ecommerce business on Tommy.com, as well as designing a digital brand flagship representative of an iconic premium American sportswear brand. This VP is a critical leader and digital evangelist within the brand’s North American business, reporting to the Brand President and leading teams of direct and indirect reports under a single cohesive vision. The ideal candidate is a collaborative thought partner, a critical thinker, and experienced coach and mentor for digital Associates.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee North America e-commerce business including, merchandising, promotional strategy, and content management, with P&L responsibility
- Design and drive Tommy.com as a digital brand flagship for North America by adapting brand and product stories from our global brand office in Amsterdam, incorporating the commercial priorities of the North America region, and delivering a cohesive commercial experience for the North American consumer
- Develop North America e-commerce strategies to grow revenue, increase profitability and support the overall brand experience
- Deliver business results and growth by partnering with Cross-Functional Partners in areas such as paid media, email, CRM, site operations, UX, and analytics
- Analyze key metrics to evaluate, optimize and benchmark performance, in partnership with future Cross-Functional Partners
- Monitor daily performance and manage store resulting activities such as daily sales analysis, visual merchandising
- Manage e-commerce trading calendar including promotions, merchandising and site refreshes
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Retail, Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Creative, IT, and future Cross-Functional Partners to optimize processes and drive sales online
- Work closely with the Marketing & Communications team on effective online campaigns, digital marketing and social media strategy
- Collaborate closely with the global Tommy Hilfiger e-commerce online marketing and brand teams in our Amsterdam global headquarters
- Meet budget and growth goals set by senior management
- Keep up to date with evolving online media and technology trends in partnership with future Cross-Functional Partners
- Coach and develop all digital associates; provide guidance on development and successional plans and career growth
- Partner with EVP Digital Growth and all other digital leadership to design career development paths throughout the PVH enterprise
QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience:
- 10+ years of relevant experience as e-commerce business manager, with experience of leading teams, trading the site in an international environment within fashion
Education:
- BA degree required (Marketing, Technology, Merchandising, E-Commerce backgrounds preferred)
Skills:
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects and budget on target
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and relationship management skills, with the ability to lead both direct reports and cross-functional teams
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present at a high-level
- Experience in site merchandising, planning, performance marketing and analytics
- Innovative and commercially-minded with a “can-do” attitude
- High performance orientation through self-motivation and agility
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in shifting priorities
- High energy and hands-on attitude with a clear bias for action; solution orientation and getting things done
- Detail-oriented/innovative traits, a must
- Must be able to discover and identify best solutions and develop methods to improve efficiency
- Candidate must be able to travel domestically and abroad, if needed

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ownership for managing TH NA Ecommerce departmental, headcount, budget and expenses.
DECISION MAKING:
This position is primarily responsible for designing and delivering all strategies and tactics to grow the ecommerce business, meeting goals set in partnership with the Finance and Planning organizations.
