Job Description
What We’re Looking For:
Experian Employer Services is currently recruiting for a dynamic and strategic sales leader to lead and motivate a team of Account Executives. The Director of Sales will build upon and lead a world-class sales team. This leader will utilize past sales experience in developing and implementing successful sales practices that will foster revenue expansion and professional growth. This role reports directly to our VP of Strategic Sales.
In this role, you will foster the sales capabilities of the team through proper coaching, leveraging production metrics, collaborating with internal partners, and building/executing a sales strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales. In addition, to being a strong leader, coach, and mentor, they must be an excellent communicator who is highly motivated, passionate, and driven by the challenge of advancing a sales team, increasing sales and meeting or exceeding goals and objectives.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and manage a team of Account Executives.
- Create a superior team through talent recruitment, performance management and motivational techniques.
- Create and drive strategic a sales plan while optimizing team selling processes.
- Provide strategic direction and tactical insights to improve sales force productivity.
- Establish and exceed sales activity and opportunity pipeline metrics that support attainment of revenue goals.
- Identify emerging market trends and develop tactics to drive new revenue streams.
- Identify and develop initiatives to secure new logos and competitive take-aways.
- Drive and contribute to a high-performance sales culture.
- Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs.
- Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative performance metrics.
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them.

Qualifications
What your background looks like:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years sales management experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth, matrixed environment
- Effectively interact with senior level executives
- Experience leading or being a key contributor to leading change initiatives to increase productivity and growth.
- Knowledge and experience in Employer Services sales or like industries.
- Proven ability to plan, forecast, and manage resources.
- Motivational coach and trainer, with the ability to build positive and productive working relationships and foster creativity, innovation, and integrity within a team.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned quotas and timelines.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in sales methodology with excellent closing and negotiation skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence others.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education. This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
