Description:
One of our clients is looking for a Director of Data Architecture for a new data initiative they are starting. They are a mid-sized SaaS company that builds a best-in-class software platform for finance and legal professionals to make timely, data-driven informed decisions about investment opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the current data ecosystem (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo, AWS).
- Evaluate new technology.
- Design and architect a new, modern architecture using best-in-class tools and technologies (Hadoop, Snowflake, Spark, data streaming, etc.).
- Staff, lead, and manage a team of Data Engineers.
- Build the new data analytics product suite.
