The Finance Director will be a client facing role and responsible for managing contract commercials over the contract, financial reporting, financial processes and audit requirements of an Investment Banking client account. As a key member of the Global senior management team, they will provide the Account/ Divisional/ Global leadership with high quality commercial & financial reporting, to support driving contractual value, service improvement and continuous improvement across the entire portfolio. This role will be a key interface for the Global Bank Commercial and Performance management Leads and the Leadership team. The person will require excellent Client relationships and the ability to meet the strict client and reporting and Management Information requirements.
KEY FUNCTIONS- Effective roll out of MSA contract commercials, and ensure optimization of implementation during annual contract reconciliations / negotiations.
- Managing the strategic Americas P&L planning / invoice raising of the Global Management fee across all in scope countries.
- Support Global Commercial Director, Global Account Lead and Regional Operations Lead with driving Save targets and all related Commercial areas of the contract.
- Drive high quality financial / commercial performance throughout the business, by developing strategic internal and external client relationships.
- Hold key relationship with Client Bank’s Global Commercial and Performance leads.
- Ensure full compliance with SOX control requirements with emphasis of Client Banking Contract Assurance activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationship with Client staff at all levels.
- Oversight over the Regional Finance team who own local month-end process and reporting integrity.
- Support Global Account/ Divisional/ Global leadership with high quality financial information. Draw upon best practices where appropriate. Build network with SMEs within Client Bank account to ensure awareness of wider initiatives.
- Act as point of contact for all Regional or finance related initiatives.
- Effective team management, evidencing strong leadership qualities.
DIMENSIONSThe Client Banking contract is an Integrated 5 year contract renewed in Dec’18 (for FM) with Go live in Jan 2019, on a principal basis covering countries across Americas and Asia Pacific. Scope of Contract covers the integrated delivery of Facilities Management, Client Services, Energy solutions.

SKILLS- Qualified Accountant. Proven track record in area of finance.
- Good all-round IT Skills (Advanced Excel). A big plus if has experience in Tableau, Peoplesoft, MyBuy, Cognos, or Power BI but not required.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and able to communicate with people at all levels across the account.
- Ability to develop effective relationships at all levels.
- Experience of working in an environment where delivering financial information within tight timescales is a pre-requisite.
- Preferably significant knowledge of financial processes, procedures and audit understanding.
- Self motivated, high achiever.
- Open and honest with high standards of personal integrity.
- Commercial and contract management skills critical.
