This is a home office based, hands-on position responsible for US and Canadian markets with 1 direct report with a unique company.
The ideal candidate will have marketing experience in the consumer package goods or beauty/cosmetics. About 8+ years of business-related experience focused on quantitative data management and project management skills.
Experience working within retailers, dealers, and online.
Experience managing direct reports is preferred.
Master’s degree preferred.

This position has the US marketing responsibility and is the key business driver. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, online shopping, marketing strategy development, new product launches, and promotional and advertising development and execution. This position will be responsible for managing total marketing (US and Canadian market), projects, and a direct report. This position is a key leadership role and plays an important role in the development and coaching of future marketing leaders.
Responsibilities
Strategy Planning:
Drive US and Canadian market annual marketing strategy planning and execution.
Analyze and research trends, and insights to develop strategy.
Oversee and guide plans development and create vision for businesses.
New Product Launches:
Ownership and responsibility for supervising entire US and Canadian process.
Sales:
Present to key accounts (Retailers, Dealers, and partners and organizations).
Influence sales strategies (selling stories, planning etc.).
Financial / Forecasting:
Assist with financial implication of forecast.
Work on accuracy of budgets and roll up of total company budget.
Promotions/Advertising / Media:
Work intimately to create breakthrough consumer communications in all touchpoints, from traditional media (Inc. print and TV) to digital data driven activations.
Team and Meeting Management:
Ensure team development and positive morale.
Foster collaboration within the team including sales team and HQ.
Recruit and retain employees.
Influence team structure.
Effectively manage, train and develop direct reports.
