Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Sales Specialist you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business. - Client Management & Value Communication: Managing clients and effectively communicating IBM's value.
- Decision Maker Engagement: Identifying decision makers, qualifying opportunities, and establishing partnerships.
- Sales Process Leadership: Overseeing the complete sales process, with a focus on new business.
- Collaborative Ecosystem Engagement: Collaborating with the broader IBM sales ecosystem to develop campaigns and boost pipeline growth.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Sales skill to identify, progress and close complex technology sales.
- Business acumen to develop TCO and ROI analysis for large enterprise sales.
- Passion for technology.
- Ability to lead in a complex and challenging business environment.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- In-Depth Knowledge of Power: A wide range of expertise regarding Power, enabling to consult and advise clients, and rapidly establish reputation as a credible and trusted advisor for clients (training on IBM's Power offerings will be provided).
- Experience selling to financial services and technology companies.
