Position Overview
The IBP Enterprise Architect, IT will be partnering with the IBP IT leadership and other IT teams on the IBP program implementation, providing vision & leadership to the function. Imperative to the success of the project will be the ability to work cross functionally in a global, fast paced environment with a variety of internal teams & external vendors. IBP domain at a high level includes the domains of Financial & Strategic Planning, Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment/Buy and Space Planning & Demand Planning.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• The IBP Enterprise, IT will oversee and lead the design and integration of all IBP solutions into the RL system landscape connecting with systems including ERP, Riversand, OMS , WMS, Global Insight etc.
• Design and develop robust architecture for integrating all IBP solutions into the RL landscape to optimize the global IBP processes.
• Ensure that the architecture supports scalability, maintainability, and performance requirements.
• Lead and manage integration projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, stay within budget, and achieve business objectives.
• Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders, including IT and external partners to ensure effective collaboration and project success.
• Develop and maintain a strategic view of the IBP systems architecture, focusing on long-term system scalability and integration.
• This role requires a blend of technical prowess, strategic vision, and leadership skills to ensure that system integrations are executed flawlessly and align with business objectives.
• Stakeholder Communication and Management:
• Engage with business leaders and technical teams to translate business needs into technical actions and strategies.
• Communicate technical concepts and implications effectively to non-technical stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
• Oversee the development of testing protocols to ensure that integrations meet functional requirements and performance standards.
• Continuously monitor system performance and lead optimization efforts to improve business processes.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
• Expert in the Integration Framework and technologies with experience in Retail/Apparel domain preferred
• Experience with integration frameworks and technologies such as middleware, APIs, and ETL tools.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of leading complex projects
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• This position requires not only technical skills but also an effective communicator and leader, capable of driving strategic integration initiatives that enhance IBP systems efficiency and business performance.
